This was the best barbecue I’ve ever had! The seasoning was great. The bark was immaculate. The smoke ring was so evident and prominent. The meat was VERY juicy. The ribs LITERALLY are baby food. It was so soft with just the right amount of effort required to make you feel like you’re biting through something. A heavenly experience. The flavors in the lean part and the fatty part of the brisket were so good. The fries were made with beef tallow and you can tell The tallow makes the fries extra crispy and the seasoning that they put on the fries may just be salt, but it is awesome! The baked beans were also very good, the corn was very good, the mac & cheese when I got it was just a tad bit dry(we got there right before closing) but overall was good. The best part about this place is that the owner is VERY passionate about his craft and you can tell. I spoke to him, he was open about every single thing! He showed me his smoker and all the effort he puts in to make his product the best product he can make. I would highly recommend this to every single friend of mine and I already have!

Made the trip from California to Texas for a wedding and stopped here to try some Texas BBQ. The owner helped us decide how much to order for 9 people and everything was excellent. We tried the whole menu! The beans were smoky, Mac and cheese creamy, the meat fell off the bone, and the banana pudding was the perfect sweetness. Everything is 100% halal and 100% delicious. Thank you and we look forward to eating here again the next time we’re in Texas.

An absolute gem!! First time here and wow!!! The pit master greeted us so nicely, as well of the staff. The star of the show was the beef rib, every bite was just a wonderful beautiful beef flavor. The fat was rendered perfectly, literally beef butter. Also, you gotta get the beef tallow French fries, you won't regret it. Loved it all.

Okay, so, let's talk about Kafi BBQ in Irving. I went, and honestly, the brisket? Amazing. Like, seriously, melt-in-your-mouth, smoky, flavorful perfection. You know how sometimes brisket can be dry? Not here. It was so tender. And the sides were just as good! I had their mac and cheese, which was super creamy, and their coleslaw, which was really fresh and crunchy. You can tell they really care about their food. The quality of the brisket was incredible, and you could taste the time they put into cooking it. Plus, the staff was so nice and welcoming. If you're looking for some fantastic brisket in Irving, you absolutely need to try Kafi BBQ. I'm already craving it again!

Absolutely blown away by our experience at Kaif BBQ in Dallas — this place isn’t just a meal, it’s a full-blown culinary event. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting, a perfect fusion of modern design and traditional smokehouse soul. But let’s get to the main reason you come here: the food. We started with the Wagyu brisket, and right away, we knew we were in for something special. It was rich, buttery, and unbelievably tender — practically melted in our mouths with every bite. Then came the Wagyu back rib, a true showstopper: smoky, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone perfect, with a depth of flavor that only comes from expert slow smoking. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, out came the Wagyu pomegranate-glazed burnt ends. Sweet, tangy, sticky, and crisp on the edges — they struck that magical balance between indulgent and refined. The Wagyu Dino rib? Absolutely massive and perfectly executed. Smoky crust, juicy interior, and bursting with flavor. It’s the kind of dish you plan your whole trip around. For sides, we had the smoked Gouda mac & cheese, which was next-level creamy with that perfect smoky twist, and Elote corn, which brought a fun, spicy-sweet contrast to the richness of the meats. Every bite felt intentional and elevated. And just when we thought we couldn’t fit anything else, we were convinced to try the cardamom banana pudding — and thank God we did. It was fragrant, silky, and comforting, like your childhood favorite grew up, went to culinary school, and came back to impress the whole table. To top it all off, Kaif BBQ also offers an amazing selection of Main Root drinks, which are organic, craft sodas with flavors that actually pair well with the smoky dishes. The Root Beer and Mexi-Cola in particular were standouts — refreshing, not overly sweet, and the perfect palate cleansers between bites. All in all, Kaif BBQ isn’t just one of the best barbecue spots in Dallas — it’s one of the best we’ve ever been to. From premium cuts of Wagyu to bold, inventive sides and standout desserts, everything on the menu felt like it was crafted with love, technique, and true passion for the art of barbecue. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. We’re already planning our next visit — and this time, we’re bringing more friends so we can try everything else on the menu!

You order at the counter - meat by weight then get asked if you want to add on any sides. We got brisket, back ribs, Iraqi sausage, mac & cheese, tallow baked beans, and cornbread. All the sides were DELICIOUS! We got both the fattier and leaner..? brisket - both were great. The sausage and back ribs were okay. The owner came to introduce himself as we enjoyed our meal on the patio and made us feel very welcomed. Main critique is I prefer using silverware instead of plastic to eat BBQ, and some music playing in the background would be nice. Felt a little too quiet. Overall, had a great time and would recommend. Thanks Salahodeen & the crew!
